今年の５月ぐらいにG検定を受ける予定なので、モチベーション維持と勉強方法紹介を兼ねて、記事を書いていきます。
多分全3~4回ぐらいで終わります。
G検定って何よ
色んな人が解説してくださってるから割愛〜。

step 0）計画を立てる
計画はこんな感じ。大体１step-1ヶ月ぐらいのイメージ。
step 1）参考書を理解する
step 2）演習、１年分解いては復習～
step 3）復習、２月目に解いた演習・復習のメモを見直す
=> 最後1~2回新しく問題解く
step 4）試験
他の人のnote見てると、もっと短期間で済ませる人が多いようですが、私はあまり機械学習に明るくないのでゆっくりやります。
受験料も安くはないのでね。。
step 1）参考書を理解する
というわけで、ひとまず参考書に目を通しました。
使った参考書はこちら。というか、普通に公式テキストです。

内容を理解するというよりは、大体どんな内容が出るか把握して、分野ごとのペース配分を考えます。（山かけとも言う…）
このへん苦労しそうとか、逆にこのへんは分かってる・あんま出題されなそうだから適当でいいや、とか。
今回はこんな感じで行きます。
真面目にやると決めた章だけ、メモを取りつつ、じっくり読み直していきます。
今回は以下のようにまとめていきます。
(1) 理解しながらノートに手書き
(2) ノートの写真を撮り、Obsidianに画像取り込み
(3) キーワードだけPCで打つ
(4) Obsidianのキャンバスに画像とキーワードのメモを貼っていく
本当はアナログのメモだけで終われれば楽なんだけど、私は字が汚いので、アナログだけだと次の週には読めなくなってしまうのだ…悲しみ…。
というわけで、４章をまとめてみたキャンバスイメージを貼っておきます。

I’m planning to take the G-Certification (Generalist) exam around May of this year, and I’ll be writing articles to maintain my motivation and share my study methods.
It will probably end in about 3-4 parts.
What is the G-Certification?
Many people have already explained it, so I’ll skip that part.
(It’s a kind of certifications about AI and deep learning in Japan.)

Step 0) Make a Plan
Here’s my plan. I’m imagining about one month per step.
- Step 1) Understand the reference book
- Step 2) Practice, solve one year’s worth of exercises and review
- Step 3) Review, review the exercises and notes from the second month
- => Solve new problems 1-2 times at the end
- Step 4) Exam
Looking at other people’s notes, it seems many people complete it in a shorter period, but I’m not very familiar with machine learning, so I’ll take my time.
The exam fee isn’t cheap either…
Step 1) Understand the Reference Book
So, I’ve taken a look at the reference book for now.
The reference book I used is this one. It’s just the official textbook.

Rather than understanding the content, I’ll grasp what kind of content will be on the exam and consider the pace for each field. (Also known as betting on certain areas…)
I’ll think about which areas will be difficult, which areas I already understand, and which areas are less likely to be on the exam, so I can be more relaxed.
This time, I’ll proceed like this.
I’ll take notes and reread the chapters that I’ve decided to study seriously.
This time, I’ll summarize it as follows.
- (1) Handwritten notes while understanding
- (2) Take a picture of the notes and import the image into Obsidian
- (3) Type only the keywords on the PC
- (4) Paste the image and keyword notes on the Obsidian canvas
It would be easier if I could just use analog notes, but my handwriting is messy, so I can’t read them by the next week…sadness…
